“1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. 3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make [it]. 5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay [is] in the potter’s hand, so [are] ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. 7 [At what] instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy [it]; 8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. 9 And [at what] instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant [it]; 10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.”
Jeremiah 18:1-10
Brothers and Sisters are you Clay in our Lord Jesus’ Hands or are you telling Him, The Potter, how you are to be made and to what liking. This is the House Of God, that among themselves do they decide how they will be, you have Boards that Demand their Structure, that Demand their Speech, that Demand their Will to be done! Say not that you have done the Will of Jesus, for He is not biased concerning His Bride. Jesus will not Speak one thing, then turn to the other and say another thing against the First Speech!
Brothers and Sisters: to have a Relationship with Jesus goes beyond just Believing, but a Relationship With Jesus is Walking and Being As He Is. We are to lay down our Lives to Please Him who sits upon the Throne. There are many of you that think that just because you read The Bible (depending on the version), just because you go to church on Sunday and Wednesday and just because you do Good Works you think you have a Relationship with Jesus…Wrong!!!
“Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.”
Proverbs 7:2
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
John 14:15
“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”
John 15:10
Do you really think that it is God that Divided the church? That He would have both Truth and Lies come out of His mouth? Do you Not Understand that we all face The Same Judgement, by The Same Judge whom Is The Word Of God The Father; He is Jesus The Christ! If it so be that we are Judged, would it not be by the same Word that Never Changes!
Church! You have an issue of Not Being Law Biding Citizens Of Heaven! Yes, we are under Grace, but that Grace is established by The Word and The Word Is Our LAW!
We, we, we decide When, Where and How our Lives will be carried out. We decide what Job, what Spouse, what House, what, what, what Our Desire Is. Then we expect God to fit into Our Plans and if it goes the way we want, then we ourselves establish that we have a Relationship With God, and specifically Jesus!
“13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.”
James 4:13-16
“For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”
2 Corinthians 10:12
Many will come with excuses but I, I, I, and none of them will be an Excuse against The Word! The same Word that Jesus gives me, to give you, I must also abide in, I must follow the same course, I must answer to Jesus. I weigh not things according to my opinion but to The Will of Jesus do I weigh All Things First and Last!
“38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. 39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].”
Matthew 26:38-39
You think that just because something is hard, not pleasant, not our will then we don’t need to Do It, but that is not the example of the Life Of Jesus. Jesus did not want to suffer, did not want to go to the cross, but Scriptures tell us He did the Fathers Will and found Joy in doing so for our sakes. There have been many things in my Life that I did not desire, did not want to go through, but found in them all The Glory Of Jesus and have a closer Relationship to Him, all because I Became The Clay allowing Jesus to be The Potter!
You need to stop doing things and then try to put God in them, but rather you need to take All Things and put them In God. There is a Big Difference in the two.
Before I got the Relationship that I have with Jesus, I had to give up my will, I had to die to self in order to Live.
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”
Matthew 16:25
Understand this, before I got married, before I got my job, before I do this or do that, I Seek Jesus and His Will First, then I must carry out whatever He Says, whether I want to or not, whether I like it or not! I put All Things in Jesus for, He is My Future, My Present and My Reward Guard. I Trust Jesus With My Whole Life!
Many are led astray because of the lies of Satan, then cry out to Jesus, then wonder why He does not answer, but He Does, you just refuse to Do His Will and are more concerned with yourself. I know and have seen many Brothers and Sisters that seek to make themselves better in this world and they fail in Building A Relationship With Jesus, then if they get gain they may or may not give any credit to Jesus, but really cannot say if it was Jesus who gave to them.
“12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
2 Corinthians 11:12-15
You think that because it looks, sounds and feels good that it came from Jesus, that is not necessarily true. The last thing that Satan wants you to do is to become the Clay that Jesus can mold. Satan takes things makes them a distraction to or against God’s Will.
“13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.”
James 1:13-14
“For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
1 John 2:16
I challenge you to go out and get some play dough, and then chose something to create. If it does not become what you wanted, mold and remake it until you are satisfied with its outcome, while doing this, realize that the Clay is at Your Will and has No Will of its own, but whatever you Command it to be, it must be. This is what it means to have a Relationship With Jesus, for He Is The Potter and I Am The Clay!
